Hi! 

My name is Mykah (Heaton) Ouderkirk. Currently I'm a senior at UVU working towards a degree in communication studies. When I graduate I would like to be an in-house social media strategist.

 I'm also on scholarship to run track. It has been the biggest blessing and made my college experience even better. My main events are hurdles and long jump, but I get thrown into other events all of the time. 

By no means would I call myself a professional photographer. I love photography and have a growing knowledge of it. It's something I have a passion for and never tire of doing. I love photography simply because there's always something new to learn. My style and editing preferences are always evolving as I learn more and am inspired by other photographers. Some of my favorites are India Earl, Chris Burkard, Jaci Smith, and Jessica Janae.

For now, this website will be a place to share some of my favorite shoots and work that I'm proud of.
